Now the colder weather is here, why not invest in a glorious Slama wolly hat only £12 or a pair of non slip socks for training at £6.50.

Lots of other slama merch for sale, ideal Christmas presents. ... See MoreSee Less

World Master Peter O'Neill could not make it along last night owing to adverse weather conditions. We had a great time without you Sir...

They all said a great big yes please to your offer of another date in 2024.

Sorry I missed it.

22 flood warnings when I started my journey at 3 o’clock - I think I found them all 🤪

A fantastic British Competition in Worcester.

We have had a terriffic year for competition entrants this year 2023. Will 2024 see more success and entrants?

We saw over 1200 competitors battle it out for medals and trophies for Sparring and patterns plus one 120 team event entrants.

An extremely competitive event saw the entrants from our clubs do well. Luca came away with a Silver after a play off for Gold went the other guys way. His sparring was strong but the other guy had a bit more aggression and bulk.

Hugo had an interesting competition getting to a play off after taking a fall in his pattern! Showed incredible focus to get up off the floor and carry on regardless and be rewarded with a play off! He did not win anything apart from a bruised bottom! 🙂

James and Femi Oguntokun Macaulay both took part in Sparring and patterns, Femi had to go up a division after having a big breakfast! He fought well in the heavier section. Although losing his coveted Crocs at the venue... I think they have sentimental value... I have asked the venue if any were handed in or indeed if they walked in by their own accord? 🙂 Phew!

James is learning and coming along nicely although dissappointed having nothing to show for his efforts. We are proud of you Sir.

Drew is relatively new to the competition circuit and held her own in patterns and sparring. Another vastly improving student. Congratulations Drew...

Katja Tribbeck stood tall and was pleased with her pattern on the day.

Elsa also did well on her pattern, although picking up a toe injury.... That took a lot of bottle hey Elsa?

Emily O really is starting to improve and gain confidence in her own right, coming out of the shadow of Dad Matt and Sister Poppy who was poorly and could not make it this weekend.

Kyle Emily and Olivia L were due to attend in patterns and officiating but again family events happened meaning the non arrival of these 3.

Similar stories for Ben Coe and Olivia Anne this time around.

Mr Paul Edward Hayter, Mardy Jase and Matt Osullivan did a grand job in officiating.

Any photo's video's you guys want to add to this thread... Let's be seeing your footage from not only this competition but throughout the year.....

well done everyone 🥋

Well done all!

We had fun, it was quite an event. Superb camaraderie, everyone put in their best effort and did themselves and SLAMA proud. On to next! [By the way, I found my crocs. Someone tried to steal them by hiding them under their kit bag 🤣]

It was a great day! You should all try a competition, it is such a good feeling (after) and prepares you for the grading nerves. Really interesting watching some people doing amazing taekwondo. Lots to learn!

Sure ill see you soon
